Best Battlefield: RedSec Loadouts
Craft the best weapons in Battlefield: RedSec

Which are the very best loadouts in Battlefield: RedSec? Your weapon loadout can be the difference between life and death in RedSec. If your opponent’s weapon has even just a hair’s edge over yours, it can be enough to cost you your win.
There is a lot that goes into a good weapon loadout. With so many parts involved, it can be difficult to know where to begin. Here, you will find a list of the best RedSec loadouts for all class specialties, as well as a wildcard option to play around with.

Best SMG Loadout

Weapon: UMG-40
The UMG-40 has a lower-than-average fire rate, but this is compensated by its quick reload time and high accuracy, which can help you land more shots faster. It has excellent mobility and control, with minimal recoil, so you can keep firing without having to worry so much about repositioning. It’s best suited for close to mid-range combat, and is a fantastic choice for your Engineer loadout.
How to Unlock: You will unlock the UMG 40 at Rank 29.
Scope: Mini Flex 1.00X
The Mini Flex 1.00x is a clear, no-nonsense sight that is simple to use and offers a good view of the battlefield. There are plenty of great sights to choose from, though, and the best one is more of a personal choice. Feel free to play around with different sights — just make sure that the one you choose doesn’t exceed 10 APs
Muzzle: Standard Suppressor
The Standard Suppressor as your Muzzle attachment is another no-brainer. It completely eradicates your in-world spotting, so your position won’t be given up as soon as you fire. It’s also a relatively early game unlock at UMG-40 Mastery 24, so you don’t have to wait too long to reap its rewards. The Standard Suppressor does sacrifice your hip-fire accuracy a little, but you can mitigate that with the Right Accessory attachment.
Barrel: 200mm Custom H
When it comes down to the final players in RedSec, it’s the finer details of your weapon that can give you an edge over other players. The 200mm Custom H is a very early unlock at UMG-40 Mastery 5, and it is fully capable of giving you that edge by increasing projectile velocity and providing a faster transition to aim down sights.
Right Accessory: 5 MW Red
For your right accessory, the 5 MW Red Laser is the best option. It significantly improves your hip-fire accuracy, making the weapon even better for close-range combat. The 5 MW Green boosts that even more, but it is significantly harder to unlock. The 5 MW Red is unlocked at UMG-40 Mastery 3, rather than the Green’s 12, so you can get your hands on it much faster.
Underbarrel: Alloy Vertical
The Alloy Vertical reduces your recoil and gives you faster ADS transition, giving you yet another edge in those close-range fights. Many of the other Underbarrel attachments for the UMG-40 come at a cost, but this one has none. There is no downside to this attachment, and it’s a pretty early unlock at UMG-40 Mastery 25.
Magazine: 30rnd Fast Mag
The 30rnd Fast Mag is the obvious choice here, especially considering its low-level unlock at just Mastery 15. You are pretty much always going to want to go for a fast mag, and while the 25 does offer more mobility, it’s harder to unlock and offers 5 fewer shots, which can make a massive difference in the field.
Ammo: Hollow Point
The Hollow Point Ammo has no cons and greatly improves your headshot damage. The better penetration that some of the other ammo offers is good, but it comes at the cost of recoil. You’re better off having no cons and going for that headshot damage every time, so the Hollow Point Ammo is definitely the way to go, especially if you want to down your targets as soon as possible.
Best Assault Rifle Loadout

Weapon: KORD 6P67
The Kord 6P67 is an incredible Assault Rifle with very little recoil, allowing you to take steady shots without having to drastically re-aim your scope every time you pull the trigger. It also has one of the highest fire rates in its class, is suitable for combat from all distances, and has some of the best control of any of the RedSec weapons.
How to Unlock : To get the KORD 6P67, you will have to complete the Rapid Fire 1 Challenge
Muzzle: Flash Hider
The Flash Hider reduces the amount of flash your opponents see when you fire your weapon, which is good, but it’s not the best part about this Muzzle. The best part is that it fully hides in-world spotting while firing, so you don’t have to worry about your position being given up as soon as you fire a shot.
Right Accessory: 5 MW Red
The 5 MW Red is, and will always be, the best Right Accessory for pretty much any mid to long-range weapon. It’s an easy unlock, boosts hip-fire accuracy so you are more proficient at close-range fighting, and it is invisible to enemies. The 5 MW Red Laser being invisible to enemies is almost unbeatable, as giving away your position is rarely worth boosting any other weapon stat.
Barrel: 415mm Fluted Barrel
The 415mm Fluted Barrel isn’t unlocked until you reach Mastery 29 with the weapon, but it offers both improved ADS (aim down sights) accuracy while moving and faster ADS transition, which is the best out of the three options available. While shooting while moving is never the best choice in RedSec due to your bullets straying off course, sometimes it’s inevitable.
Underbarrel: Folding Vertical
The Folding Vertical gives you less recoil, which is always welcome, as you don’t have to do as much repositioning after each shot. It does come at the cost of your ADS while moving, but accuracy while moving is always going to plummet, so you will want to stay as stationary as possible while aiming down sights anyway.
Magazine: 30rnd Fast Mag
A fast mag is always going to be the best choice since it reduces your reload time, which can be lifesaving in battle. While the 45 Fast Mag would be nice, you are going to go over your attachment points if you try to use it with this build. The 30rnd Fast Mag is a decent in-between option.
Ammo: Lightweight
The Lightweight Ammo improves your ADS movement speed, which helps to recuperate some of those lost stats due to some of the other choices made in this build. It’s also more on the cheap side when it comes to attachment points, which always helps.
Scope: SU-230 LPVO
Since the KORD is such a versatile weapon, it is a brilliant choice for combat from any range. That does make picking a sight a little trickier, though. That’s why one of the best ones to go for would be the SU-230 LPVO. This is a variable sight, which allows you to zoom in or out depending on the combat situation you’re in at the time.
Best LMG Loadout

Weapon: DRS-1AR
The DRS-1AR is a signature Support Class weapon that expertly walks the line between an LMG and an Assault Rifle, making it one of the most versatile guns in the game. LMGs are known for their incredible firepower but usually have significant recoil. This weapon doesn’t. The DRS-1AR is the best of both worlds, offering an incredibly powerful mid-to-close-range combat experience that can easily help you get a one-up on your opponent.
Muzzle: Flash Hider
The Flash Hider is an excellent choice for this weapon. You really can’t beat having your position kept secret during battle, and it’s only 10 attachment points to equip, as well. Many of the other muzzles come with cons and/or are hard to unlock, but the Flash Hider doesn’t have any of those drawbacks.
Barrel: 20" SDM-R
The DRS-1AR has 10 attachment points allocated to the barrel by default, so you might as well upgrade this to the 20" SDM-R for free. This is an elongated barrel that does reduce mobility slightly but also improves projectile velocity and firing accuracy over prolonged periods, which is important with an LMG.
Underbarrel: Bipod
The Bipod is a quick and easy unlock and has more than one helpful trait. To start with, it increases the weapon’s ability to be mounted on ledges and when you’re prone. It also greatly reduces recoil, which helps you steady your aim.
Magazine: 30rnd Fast Mag
The 30rnd Fast Mag is going to be the choice here as well, allowing you to boost your default amount of rounds while also slightly boosting the reload speed. There are better options available, but you would have to sacrifice some other attachments to get them to fit into your available attachment points.
Top Accessory: 5 MW Red
You may be sick of the 5 MW Red by now, but again, remaining anonymous on the field prevents you from being swarmed by any nearby enemies.
Ammo: Hollow Point
The Hollow Point ammo is a great choice here since your attachment points allow it. This ammo grants you significantly more headshot damage, and with this weapon being so versatile and precise, it’s a perfect fit.
Scope: Mini Flex 1.00x
What scope you choose is really up to you. The Mini Flex offers a nice, clear view, but you could choose anything you prefer, as long as it doesn’t exceed 10 attachment points. You can see how many attachment points something has by registering the number in the top left corner of the icon box.
Ergonomics: Match Trigger
The Match Trigger as your Ergonomics attachment reduces recoil and boosts accuracy, making the DRS-1AR even more of a beast in semi-auto mode. It’s also a pretty easy unlock at 16 Mastery, so you don’t have to grind too much to get it.
Best Shotgun Loadout

Weapon: M87A1
The M87A1 is the first Shotgun you unlock in RedSec, but it’s also one of the best. The others do have more RoF than the M87A1, but the M87A1 has better firepower, making it more efficient for quick and clean kills. When you’re using a close-range weapon like a shotgun, you need to focus on getting that kill as soon as possible. It’s not worth worrying about how many shots you can make when you could take down someone with one.
Muzzle: CQB Suppressor
The CQB Suppressor fully hides in-world spotting and reduces the range where a soldier is spotted on the minimap while firing, allowing you to have a chance of escape before your foes can close in on you after you take someone down. It’s also unlocked at Mastery 18, so you don’t have to grind for days to get your hands on it! It is very expensive in the attachment points department, but it is one of the best shotgun attachments, so it is well worth the cost.
Magazine: 5 Shell Tube
The 5 Shell Magazine is unlocked at Mastery 6, making it one of the easiest and best attachments to use when you’re first starting out with shotguns in RedSec. It does have less space for bullets, but it greatly increases handling, allowing you to land most shots you do take. When you’re using such a close-range weapon as a shotgun, you don’t really have much opportunity to take more shots. It’s better to focus on the ones you can take.
Underbarrel: Ribbed Vertical
The Ribbed Vertical reduces recoil as much as you can afford for the number of attachment points you have left, at the cost of your ADS accuracy while moving. Thankfully, that isn’t really an issue with a shotgun. Shotguns are very close-range weapons and are better shot from the hip, anyway, so you’re not really going to be aiming down your sights much here.
Ammo: Buckshot
The Buckshot Ammo is the default option here, but it’s not worth changing. The other options cost more attachment points and give benefits where they aren’t really needed, like penetration that can hit targets beyond your initial one. Enemies aren’t really stacked up that much in RedSec, so you’re better off saving your APs and sticking with the Buckshot.
Right Accessory: 50 MW Green
Finally, we have strayed away from the 5 MW Red! As you are well aware, I am a fan of the MW Red’s anonymity. But when it comes to shotguns, you’re never really going to be anonymous. They are CQC weapons, and no laser is going to stop you from being visible when you’re pointing a shotgun straight at your enemy’s face. In this case, the added hip-fire accuracy is worth the visibility cost.
Best Sniper Loadout

Weapon: M2010 ESR
The M2010 ESR is the best Sniper choice thanks to its ideal range of 75m-120m. With an ever-shrinking Battlefield, this range will result in the most optimal one in a matter of minutes when the circle of fire starts advancing throughout Fort Lyndon. With the second-highest base Rate of Fire and no loss in damage when compared to the Mini Scout, the only real drawback with the M2010 ESR is the limited Mag size of only 5. If you trust in your sniping skills, you should only need one or two shots anyway, right?
Barrel: 24" Full
This barrel is more on the basic side, but is both cheap on APs and beneficial for the weapon itself. It’s a non-fluted barrel that enables a faster transition to ADS. While this isn’t as efficient for other weapons, ADS is easily one of the most used features of a sniper, so capitalizing on that efficiency is definitely a good idea.
Magazine: 8rnd Mag
This magazine addresses the main weak point of the M2010 ESR by adding three more shots at the cost of slower movement while aiming. If you are going to increase your mag size this way, make sure to be perched up in an advantageous position.
Left Accessory: Range Finder
Use the range finder (Hold Down in D-pad or B on Keyboard) while aiming to let this wonderful attachment calibrate and compensate your shot to prevent bullet drop. This essentially calculates bullet drop for you. When you shoot a long-range weapon like a sniper rifle, your bullet falls slightly as it travels through the air. This attachment prevents that from happening as much, so you don’t have to aim so far above your target’s head to compensate for it.
Underbarrel: QD Grip Pod
This Underbarrel attachment helps you by making your rifle easier to mount on ledges from your bird’s nest, and it will also help with faster aiming. It causes loss of accuracy while moving, so make sure you are static when firing.
Ammo: FMJ
Stick to the standard ammunition for this weapon loadout. Frangible is not worth the Attachment Points, and Long-Range is not going to be worth it once the circle starts shrinking.
Scope: S-VPS 6.00X
While you may be tempted to go for the Scope 8.00x for the same APs, it doesn’t unlock until you reach Mastery 22, so the 6.00X is the best one to start with.
Muzzle: Long Suppressor
Use your last 25 APs for this Long Suppressor, which will make it harder for enemies to spot you in your bird’s nest and also will help against recoil buildup. You will unlock this one at Mastery 28, as well, so it’s within arm’s reach and not too much of a pipe dream when you first start out.
It can get tough out there in Battlefield: RedSec! Make sure you have your chosen Battlefield: RedSec class ready to go. And if you’re not sure what weapons to add to your custom loadout, check out our Best Battlefield: RedSec guns guide to get a better idea of what to focus on.

All 75 Arc Raiders Blueprints and where to get them
These areas have the highest chance of giving you Blueprints

Looking for more Arc Raiders Blueprints? It’s a special day when you find a Blueprint, as they’re among the most valuable items in Arc Raiders. If you find a Blueprint that you haven’t already found, then you must make sure you hold onto it at all costs, because Blueprints are the key to one of the most important and powerful systems of meta-progression in the game.
This guide aims to be the very best guide on Blueprints you can find, starting with a primer on what exactly they are and how they work in Arc Raiders, before delving into exactly where to get Blueprints and the very best farming spots for you to take in your search.
We’ll also go over how to get Blueprints from other unlikely activities, such as destroying Surveyors and completing specific quests. And you’ll also find the full list of all 75 Blueprints in Arc Raiders on this page (including the newest Blueprints added with the Cold Snap update , such as the Deadline Blueprint and Firework Box Blueprint), giving you all the information you need to expand your own crafting repertoire.
In this guide:

What are Blueprints in Arc Raiders?
Blueprints in Arc Raiders are special items which, if you manage to extract with them, you can expend to permanently unlock a new crafting recipe in your Workshop. If you manage to extract from a raid with an Anvil Blueprint, for example, you can unlock the ability to craft your very own Anvil Pistol, as many times as you like (as long as you have the crafting materials).
To use a Blueprint, simply open your Inventory while in the lobby, then right-click on the Blueprint and click “Learn And Consume” . This will permanently unlock the recipe for that item in your Workshop. As of the Stella Montis update, there are allegedly 75 different Blueprints to unlock - although only 68 are confirmed to be in the game so far. You can see all the Blueprints you’ve found and unlocked by going to the Workshop menu, and hitting “R” to bring up the Blueprint screen.
It’s possible to find duplicates of past Blueprints you’ve already unlocked. If you find these, then you can either sell them, or - if you like to play with friends - you can take it into a match and gift it to your friend so they can unlock that recipe for themselves. Another option is to keep hold of them until the time comes to donate them to the Expedition.

Note: The missing Blueprints in this list likely have not actually been added to the game at the time of writing, because none of the playerbase has managed to find any of them. As they are added to the game, I will update this page with the most relevant information so you know exactly how to get all 75 Arc Raiders Blueprints.
Where to find Blueprints in Arc Raiders
Below is a list of all containers, modifiers, and events which maximise your chances of finding Blueprints:
- Certain quests reward you with specific Blueprints .
- Completing Trials has a high chance of offering Blueprints as rewards.
- Surveyors have a decent chance of dropping Blueprints on death.
- High loot value areas tend to have a greater chance of spawning Blueprints.
- Night Raids and Storms may increase rare Blueprint spawn chances in containers.
- Containers with higher numbers of items may have a higher tendency to spawn Blueprints. As a result, Blue Gate (which has many “large” containers containing multiple items) may give you a higher chance of spawning Blueprints.
- Raider containers (Raider Caches, Weapon Boxes, Medical Bags, Grenade Tubes) have increased Blueprint drop rates. As a result, the Uncovered Caches event gives you a high chance of finding Blueprints.
- Security Lockers have a higher than average chance of containing Blueprints.
- Certain Blueprints only seem to spawn under specific circumstances: Tempest Blueprint only spawns during Night Raid events. Vulcano Blueprint only spawns during Hidden Bunker events. Jupiter and Equaliser Blueprints only spawn during Harvester events.

Raider Caches, Weapon Boxes, and other raider-oriented container types have a good chance of offering Blueprints. |Image credit:Rock Paper Shotgun/Embark Studios
Blueprints have a very low chance of spawning in any container in Arc Raiders, around 1-2% on average. However, there is a higher chance of finding Blueprints in particular container types. Specifically, you can find more Blueprints in Raider containers and security lockers.
Beyond this, if you’re looking for Blueprints you should focus on regions of the map which are marked as having particularly high-value loot. Areas such as the Control Tower in Dam Battlegrounds, the Arrival and Departure Buildings in Spaceport, and Pilgrim’s Peak in Blue Gate all have a better-than-average chance of spawning Blueprints somewhere amongst all their containers. Night Raids and Electromagnetic Storm events also increase the drop chances of certain Blueprints .
In addition to these containers, you can often loot Blueprints from destroyed Surveyors - the largest of the rolling ball ARC. Surveyors are more commonly found on the later maps - Spaceport and Blue Gate - and if one spawns in your match, you’ll likely see it by the blue laser beam that it casts into the sky while “surveying”.
Surveyors are quite well-armoured and will very speedily run away from you once it notices you, but if you can take one down then make sure you loot all its parts for a chance of obtaining certain unusual Blueprints.
Blueprints obtained from quests
One way in which you can get Blueprints is by completing certain quests for the vendors in Speranza. Some quests will reward you with a specific item Blueprint upon completion, so as long as you work through all the quests in Arc Raiders, you are guaranteed those Blueprints.
Here is the full list of all Blueprints you can get from quest rewards:
- Trigger Nade Blueprint: Rewarded after completing “Sparks Fly”.
- Lure Grenade Blueprint: Rewarded after completing “Greasing Her Palms”.
- Burletta Blueprint: Rewarded after completing “Industrial Espionage”.
- Hullcracker Blueprint (and Launcher Ammo Blueprint): Rewarded after completing “The Major’s Footlocker”.
Alas, that’s only 4 Blueprints out of a total of 75 to unlock, so for the vast majority you will need to find them yourself during a raid. If you’re intent on farming Blueprints, then it’s best to equip yourself with cheap gear in case you lose it, but don’t use a free loadout because then you won’t get a safe pocket to stash any new Blueprint you find. No pain in Arc Raiders is sharper than failing to extract with a new Blueprint you’ve been after for a dozen hours already.

One of the best ways to get Blueprints is by hitting three stars on all five Trials every week. |Image credit:Rock Paper Shotgun/Embark Studios
Blueprints obtained from Trials
One of the very best ways to get Blueprints is as rewards for completing Trials in Arc Raiders. Trials are unlocked from Level 15 onwards, and allow you to earn rewards by focusing on certain tasks over the course of several raids. For example, one Trial might task you with dealing damage to Hornets, while another might challenge you to loot Supply Drops.
Trials refresh on a weekly basis, with a new week bringing five new Trials. Each Trial can offer up to three rewards after passing certain score milestones, and it’s possible to receive very high level loot from these reward crates - including Blueprints. So if you want to unlock as many Blueprints as possible, you should make a point of completing as many Trials as possible each week.
Best Blueprint farming locations
The very best way to get Blueprints is to frequent specific areas of the maps which combine high-tier loot pools with the right types of containers to search. Here are my recommendations for where to find Blueprints on every map, so you can always keep the search going for new crafting recipes to unlock.

Dam Battlegrounds
The best places to farm Blueprints on Dam Battlegrounds are the Control Tower, Power Generation Complex, Ruby Residence, and Pale Apartments . The first two regions, despite only being marked on the map as mid-tier loot, contain a phenomenal number of containers to loot. The Control Tower can also contain a couple of high-tier Security Lockers - though of course, you’ll need to have unlocked the Security Breach skill at the end of the Survival tree.
There’s also a lot of reporting amongst the playerbase that the Residential areas in the top-left of the map - Pale Apartments and Ruby Residence - give you a comparatively strong chance of finding Blueprints. Considering their size, there’s a high density of containers to loot in both locations, and they also have the benefit of being fairly out of the way. So you’re more likely to have all the containers to yourself.
Buried City
The best Blueprint farming locations on Buried City are the Santa Maria Houses, Grandioso Apartments, Town Hall, and the various buildings of the New District . Grandioso Apartments has a lower number of containers than the rest, but a high chance of spawning weapon cases - which have good Blueprint drop rates. The others are high-tier loot areas, with plenty of lootable containers - including Security Lockers.
Spaceport
The best places to find Blueprints on Spaceport are the Arrival and Departure Buildings, as well as Control Tower A6 and the Launch Towers . All these areas are labelled as high-value loot regions, and many of them are also very handily connected to one another by the Spaceport wall, which you can use to quickly run from one area to the next. At the tops of most of these buildings you’ll find at least one Security Locker, so this is an excellent farming route for players looking to find Blueprints.
The downside to looting Blueprints on Spaceport is that all these areas are hotly contested, particularly in Duos and Squads. You’ll need to be very focused and fast in order to complete the full farming route.

Blue Gate
Blue Gate tends to have a good chance of dropping Blueprints, potentially because it generally has a high number of containers which can hold lots of items; so there’s a higher chance of a Blueprint spawning in each container. In my experience, the best Blueprint farming spots on Blue Gate are Pilgrim’s Peak, Raider’s Refuge, the Ancient Fort, and the Underground Complex beneath the Warehouse .
All of these areas contain a wealth of containers to loot. Raider’s Refuge has less to loot, but the majority of the containers in and around the Refuge are raider containers, which have a high chance of containing Blueprints - particularly during major events.
Stella Montis
On the whole, Stella Montis seems to have a very low drop rate for Blueprints (though a high chance of dropping other high-tier loot). If you do want to try farming Blueprints on this map, the best places to find Blueprints in Stella Montis are Medical Research, Assembly Workshop, and the Business Center . These areas have the highest density of containers to loot on the map.
In addition to this, the Western Tunnel has a few different Security Lockers to loot, so while there’s very little to loot elsewhere in this area of the map, it’s worth hitting those Security Lockers if you spawn there at the start of a match.
That wraps up this primer on how to get all the Blueprints in Arc Raiders as quickly as possible. With the Expedition system constantly resetting a large number of players’ Blueprints, it’s more important than ever to have the most up-to-date information on where to find all these Blueprints.
